Who we are
This website, imperialclaimsgroup.com, is run by Hector Camarena, who is forming Imperial Claims Group in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company has not been filed yet. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Hector Camarena and, once it exists, the company. For anything about your information, write to privacy@imperialclaimsgroup.com.
What we collect
We collect information only when you send one of the two forms on the contact page.
| Form | What is stored |
|---|---|
| Updates list | Your name, your email address, your ZIP code if you give one, the fact that you ticked the consent box and the version of the consent wording you saw, and the date and time. |
| General message | Your name, your email address, your message, the fact that you ticked the acknowledgement box and the version of its wording, and the date and time. |
| Both forms | The browser description your browser sends (its “user agent”, for example the browser name and version), and a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. |
To limit repeated or automated sending, each time a form is sent we also record that hash with the time, in a separate table.
If a form arrives with our hidden spam-trap field filled in, we discard it without storing anything. If a form is rejected because a field is missing or invalid, the form itself is not stored; only the hashed rate-limit record is.
What we do not collect
- No cookies. This site does not set any.
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no third-party scripts or fonts. Every file on this site is served from imperialclaimsgroup.com.
- No third party collects information about your activity on this site, or across other sites, through us.
- No insurance or claim information. Please do not send any; see the note on the contact page.
If you use the light or dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It is never sent to us.
How we use it
- Updates list: to email you when Imperial opens and, now and then, about our progress. Nothing else.
- General message: to read your message and reply to you by email.
- Hashed IP and user agent: only to prevent spam and abuse of the forms.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who else handles it
Two service providers handle this information for us, and no one else receives it:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and the database where form entries are stored, sends the notification email described below, and forwards mail sent to our @imperialclaimsgroup.com addresses to the owner’s mailbox. As the host, Cloudflare also processes connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare acts only as our host and processor.
- Google provides the Gmail mailbox where the owner receives a notification email for each form entry, and any email you send to one of our addresses. A notification email contains the details you typed into the form; it does not contain the IP hash or the user agent.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal order.
How long we keep it
- Updates list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your entry. If Imperial does not open, we will delete the list.
- General messages: deleted automatically 24 months after they arrive.
- IP hash and user agent on form entries: removed automatically after 30 days.
- Rate-limit records: deleted automatically after 48 hours.
- Notification emails stay in the owner’s mailbox until he deletes them. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete those emails too.
Seeing, changing or deleting it
Email privacy@imperialclaimsgroup.com, which reaches the owner directly, from the address you used on the form, and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, removal from the updates list, or deletion. We will do it, and reply, within 30 days. If we need to confirm that a request is really from you, we will ask by replying to that email address.
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as Nevada law defines it (NRS 603A.345). You may still send us a request not to sell it at the same address, and we will confirm it.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form entries are stored in a private database that only the owner can reach. IP addresses are hashed with a secret key before anything is stored.
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change would let us use updates-list information in a new way, we will email the people on the list before it takes effect.
This policy is written to meet Nevada’s website privacy-notice law (NRS 603A.340): the information collected, who it is shared with, how to review and change it, how changes are announced, whether third parties track visitors, and the effective date.
